A series of six, free dance for Parkinson’s sessions taking place January – March 2016. Cheshire Dance are pleased to be delivering these sessions through funding from Macclesfield Peaks and Plains, secured by the Parkinson’s Society, Macclesfield Branch.

When: Fridays Fortnightly 15th, 29th Jan, 12th, 26th Feb, 11th, 25th March
Time: 11am – 1 pm the dance sessions will be followed by refreshments

Dance movement for people with Parkinson’s disease and their partners or carers
Dance styles/techniques/content covered in class: contemporary, somatic, improvisation, based on neurophysiological principles
Lead teachers: Daphne Cushnie, Neurophysiotherapist and Community Dance Practitioner
English National Ballet
Venue: Merseyside Dance Initiative, 24 Hope Street, Liverpool L1 9BX
When: Weekly classes, Thursdays 2pm – 4pm
Dates: Thursday 6 October – Thursday 15 December 2016 (excl. 1 December)
Fee: Classes are £3.50 per person, per session, including carers, family members or guests. Drop-ins are very welcome.
